THERAPIE SUP

SUP stands for "Stand Up Paddling" and is now an integral part of our coasts and shores. Meanwhile, more and more people are conquering our lakes, canals, rivers and seas with huge boards and paddles. You stand upright on a stable iSUP board and move with the help of a paddle.
We use stand-up paddling therapy for the rehabilitation of orthopedic and oncologically ill children up to adults. physio4me is one of the first projects to use the positive effects of stand-up paddling therapeutically and thus to achieve sustainable success.
SUP therapy can help to improve the quality of life. You develop more strength and endurance. The balance, coordination and body awareness will stabilize and improve noticeably. Successful experiences and flow experiences strengthen self-confidence and confidence in your own abilities. Gliding on the element releases overwhelming feelings of happiness, which activates new forces for coping with everyday life.
Waves are very attractive and have a very special fascination. This intensive experience of nature motivates and can help to overcome the consequences of chronic illnesses, handicaps or difficult life situations.
Everyone can learn stand up paddling. Without previous knowledge, this form of sports therapy enables you to do full-body training with lots of fun and noticeable successes from the first minute. The north of Erfurt offers ideal conditions for this.
So you get to know the element of water from a completely new perspective. On the SUP board you keep your body tension constant, which has a particularly positive effect on your deep muscles. You train your cardiovascular system gently and sustainably, thereby influencing your physical development positively and restoring your inner balance.
Depending on the objective, the therapeutic SUP units can be used as therapy or support you with the SUP therapy. In the winter months or from October to May, the units take place indoors.
